If I had known of the inadequacy of this app while subscribing to their service, I would have gone with a different provider. This app will freeze my phone constantly, regardless of if it actually connects to my system or not. It almost never works, which have caused me to set off my alarm many times just trying to enter my house. I have spent countless hours sitting in front of my house, either trying to get in, or trying to set my system to leave.
Absolutely ridiculous, useless and frustrating, to say the least. Do yourself a favor and find an alternative, or wait for them to fix this stupid remote access. As a mom, always on the move, busy doing something for my kids and the husssband, it gets pretty tuff to have eyes on our three kids, ALL the time. But no more putting off. Thanks to ADT, those fearful thoughts are not there and for that I will always be forever great full.
Everything was working fine up until weeks ago. The audio from the doorbell works fine but the video is frozen video actually moves at 12seconds only 1 frame. Everything works fine on the live stream. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app two times already.

That is, there are two whole minutes from the time there is a camera detection and the time I get an app notification about it. That is unacceptable. The whole point of having cameras with a detection system is to get notified in a timely manner.
So the notification is not sent until 2 minutes later when the video is finished uploading to the cloud. If that is the case, then the app engineers need to include a separate notification, independent from the video upload notification, that is sent out as soon as the camera detection is triggered. Then a second notification with the available 30 second recording can be sent out. In two minutes, someone could walk from the front of my house to my backyard and break into the master bedroom without me having any idea about it.

ADT keeps saying it my phone. Funny all my other apps work fine including my ring doorbell. At this time, we do not recommend ADT for home security because of their negative reviews and their undisclosed information. ADT called us ,sheriffs deputy was already here. All the perpetrators could do was mar the back door open and it set the alarm off. No one knew we had a system. They ran!
