These new additions can span from quality of life adjustments and brand new content in and out of combat. As some features of a given entry may not appear after its initial appearance, what may compel one player towards a given entry in the series may not be a selling point for another.
As the most recent entry within the series, it should be no surprise that Monster Hunter Rise has among the most varied content in the series, offering new mechanics and features that can cater to series newcomers and veterans alike. They are the best in the series so far. Monster Hunter Rise is like proof that the Switch still has more life in it despite a Pro version of its own.
Monster Hunter Rise looks great on the Switch for what it is. If one squints enough they might even think they are playing Monster Hunter World. They both look aesthetically the same, in other words.

Granted it's not a final build or anything like that, but they go into the framerate in the modes and on the base PS4. PRO performance mode is really buttery smooth, if anyone of you own a base PS4 but somehow can try the demo on the PRO I'm sure you'll see and feel the difference. Didn't even know there's different modes for the ps4 pro. I got the og ps4 btw. None of the options are "buttery smooth", but all of them are solid.
